Introducing eggs to your baby's diet early, is said to decrease their likelihood of developing an egg allergy. However, eggs are still a common allergy in children and therefore care should be taken when introducing eggs to your baby's diet.
Add any of the following for older babies to provide flavour.
- Herbs such as coriander, basil, chives or parsley
- A pinch of turmeric or cumin
- Grated cheese (add right before removing from heat to avoid a dense consistency)
- Chopped capsicum
- Diced tomato
- Sliced mushrooms
